Wedding Services

Weddings are life changing events; a public commitment to a loving relationship. This is a solemn occasion, but there is no reason on earth why it canąt be also fun and exciting! It doesnąt matter if the wedding affair is celebrated by 2 people or 2000 people. What matters most is what you want.

You want to be calm, relaxed, and confident of the outcome, knowing that the words you hear that day will be an exact reflection of how you feel towards each other. Who you choose to perform your wedding will be the decisive factor.

When interviewing your officiant of choice, ask these questions:

do you feel comfortable in their presence;

can you preview the service;

can you change, delete, or add components or parts;

can you write your own vows if you so choose;

will they guarantee being there and on time;

will they help keep you calm on your special day.

Rev. Phran offers 3 ways to construct a service:

1) Choose one of several basic ceremonies.

2) View her book of ceremony components at your leisure. After making your selections, she will weave the threads together for your wedding day tapestry.

3) Write your own original ceremony or write a unique component that will be incorporated into the service to bring your creation to life.

There is one more element to consider. How are you going to maintain a calm and relaxed attitude as you step forward to say, "I do"?

There is a signature Tranquility Technique implemented by Rev. Phran that will guarantee, in a matter of minutes, to relieve any stress related tension, anxiety, headache, back pain, or upset stomach. This may be added to Option 1 and is included in the other options. Ask her about it.

Tell us about your wedding.

Christening - Naming Ceremony

The purpose of a Christening or a Naming Ceremony is to honor an infant or a child by publicly proclaiming their name to the world. This is not a legal requirement but rather a loving tradition.

The main participants on this happy occasion are the child, the parents, 2 witnesses known as Godparents, and the Officiant. You may want to include other children or Grandparents, it's all up to you.

The symbols most often associated with this type of service are; candles, water, flowers, flower petals and incense. If requested, Holy Water from the Jordan River may be added. You may use all of these symbols or none of these symbols in your personalized Christening or Naming Ceremony.

Choose from many appropriate readings or create an original poem or verse for a close friend or relative to read during the rites. Select a location to compliment the intention; at a home, in a garden, by a pond, river or stream, in a church. Opt for a place that speaks of innocence and new beginnings, a calm and tranquil setting of serene beauty.

There are many options open for your child's welcome to the world, from extravagant to less-is-more.

Vow Renewals

The renewal of your wedding vows is a proclamation to the world that your loving relationship has not only endured but has grown and flourished through the years. Every relationship has ups and downs, good times to cherish and difficult situations that brought you closer. With everything you have gone through together, you are now ready to reaffirm and celebrate your milestone anniversary, be it 10 years, 25, 50, or any number in between.

Who will you celebrate with — new friends and extended family? Possibly your original wedding party is available to applaud the occasion. Large or intimate, the commemorative service contains all of the excitement of the initial ceremony and the benefit of your years of experiences to quell any jitters.

Build your own ceremony to reflect how you think and feel right now. You know what is important to you and what is unnecessary. I will work with you to design a celebration that will forever be a treasured memory.

Memorial Service

It is an absolute certainty that everyone who has taken a first breath, will take a last breath. When that happens a final or memorial service is always in order to the point of being a requirement of those still here. The ceremony is both a tribute and closure to the life lived on Earth. Every life affects other lives often in small ways, occasionally in life-changing ways. We are all unique and important enough to be celebrated in our living and in our dieing.

What is it that needs to be said? The loved one who has passed may have left specific instructions. In this case, they will be followed to the letter. If there were a few suggestions then they will be woven into a beautiful service. On the other hand, the deceased may not have given any hint at all of final wishes. The service may be limited to immediate relatives and close friends or attended by many. Which ever the case, I will construct and officiate at a calm, serene ceremony to reflect the life and accomplishments of the deceased.

What would you like to have said, on your passing, about you and the life you've lived? Is there a favorite song, poem or verse that speaks for you, reflects your opinions? Consider having your own service prepared. Think of that for a moment. Writing your own service means that what will be said is exactly what you want to be said, and at the same time it will help your family fulfill a monumental responsibility. There is no time like the present, while you are thinking clearly, to get started.

Pet Memorials

Perfect Ceremonies' mission is to create with you a comforting, serene, uplifting, memorial service for your pet whether it be two legged, four legged, winged or aquatic.

The bond between people and pets is much stronger than we are often willing to admit. Those of us who are fortunate enough to have that special bond with a companion animal know the loss of such unconditional love can be devastating.

Our fundamental aim is to ease the sadness of parting by providing a dignified and personalized memorial service which will help you to move on with your life while cherishing all the wonderful memories of your beloved friend.

We believe that pets are an important and engaging member of the family whose loss results in the same grieving process as would losing anyone close to us. We understand that the feelings generated when a pet dies are real and deserve the same respect as if it where any other family member.

Thousands of years of tradition show that when a human being leaves this earthly realm, the relatives and loved ones that are still here take part in some form of ceremony; they need to formally say goodbye.

When the loved one is a companion but is not a human being, there is still a deep need for closure. There is an unspoken desire to proclaim, "You are loved, and you will be missed."

These questions often arise: "What happens to an animal after it dies? Does it have a soul? Where does it go?"

Our philosophy is that there is a Master Creator which is known by many names. One of them is simply Consciousness. Animals have consciousness and when an animal dies its consciousness will return to Consciousness. Love is never lost and it never ends. To live in the hearts of those we love is not to die.

A pet memorial service may be done at any time. The concept is for you to have closure, a sense of release, and a feeling of comfort. Contact Rev. Phran today to plan the ceremony of your beloved pet and companion.
